Cedarwood Scented Beard Oil
What does our Cedarwood scented beard oil smell like?
Well, lets go back to when we where kids, when the overnight low was below 10deg Mum and Dad would get the fire going. On that first night you carried the wood basket out to the woodshed, opened the door and you were hit with the smell of a stack of wood that had been capsulated for months.
That’s the smell you can expect when you apply our Cedarwood scented beard oil! A bright, almost acidic punch up front, then settling into a warm woodsy smell.
Sandalwood Scented Beard Oil
Sandalwood it a classic scent and is our most popular one. Well known for its sweet, warm, rich and woody smell it is a softer scent that suits every occasion.
All of our oils are great for strengthening beard hair and balancing moisture levels in the skin under your beard.
Our beard oils are made in New Zealand using natural organic New Zealand raw ingredients.
What is Beard Oil?
The primary function of beard oil is caring for your hair and skin.
It does this by helping to balance the moisture levels in your skin and encouraging new follicle growth. The oil also provides essential nutrients required for a healthy, thick, full beard.
The Bearded Man beard oils have been designed with Jojoba oil forming the cornerstone of the product and making up 39% of the beard oil components.
We selected Jojoba because it’s a wax ester (which is not technically an oil) and is the most similar to human skin oil (sebum) that nature has to offer, it is non-toxic, non-comedogenic and non-allergenic. This means that it won’t clog pores and will not cause any allergic reactions.
In addition to that, it does not cause a greasy feeling when used on the skin like other oils do.
Our beard oil provides all-day moisture that won’t evaporate. It spreads and absorbs well into the beard hair and facial skin.
How to use
Beard oil should be used as part of your daily routine.
The amount of beard oil used will depend on the length of your beard. We recommend starting with about two-thirds of the dipper tube full and adjust more or less from there depending on your beard length, skin & hair condition and personal preference of shine and feel.
You will soon get a feel for how much you need to use.
Once you have the oil in your palm, rub your hands together and begin to massage it into your beard. Ensure you massage in all directions (with and against hair direction) to help the oil reach your skin.
By applying the beard oil to your beard and massaging into your skin, the oil moisturises the skin preventing dry itchy beards and dandruff.
As a result, the moisturising will also stimulate the skin and scalp, encouraging more hair and resulting in thicker beard hair.
